! THIS WEEK AT COLD SPRING SCHOOL FEBRUARY 27, 2015 BENJAMIN ZANDER VISITS COLD SPRING SCHOOL Benjamin Zander, grandfather of Jack Shor (student in Katy and Josiah’s 2/3 class), and Conductor of the Boston Pilharmonic Youth Orchestra, came to speak to the Cold Spring community this week and shared his beautiful music and message about possibility and hope. He said that he measures success, not by money, power or fame, but by the number of shining eyes he has around him. If the eyes aren’t shining, he asks, “who am I being that the eyes around me aren’t shining?” He also led one of our 6th grade students, Mateo Balbarin, in a beautiful violin performance. The entire audience, ranging from preschoolers to grandparents, was captivated. Don't worry! If you missed him on Wednesday, we taped it all, and will be sharing the video soon. !
