Light can pass through some types of matter. Matter that allows light to
pass through it so a clear image can be seen is called transparent. Glass is
transparent and this property is used for windows. Matter that allows some
but not all of the light to pass through it is called translucent. Wax paper is
translucent. Matter that does not allow any light to pass through it is called
opaque. A shadow forms when an opaque or translucent object blocks the
light.

Competition Rules:
• You need to be a Bush Buddies Kids Club member to enter.
• Prizes are awarded for each of the three competitions for:
* Mini Buddies (aged 2-5)
* Junior Buddies (aged 6-10)
* Big Buddies (aged 11-15)
• One additional prize is awarded for the best overall competition entry.
• Bush Buddies Kids Club members can only win one prize per edition, however if there are less than 10 competition forms returned to QRMFN per edition, individual entries may win more than
one competition but will still only be eligible for one prize.
Competition Closing Date: Entries must be received by QRMFN by 5/12/2014 to be in the running to win a prize.
