Introduction
Welcome to the Derby City Council - Hospitality brochure.
The contents of this brochure will give you an insight in to the hospitality services we can provide
Our service extends to the provision of a complete hospitality package including:
Linen, Flowers, Packed Lunches & Cakes
Included within the brochure are some key contacts, lead times and cancellation charges, which we
hope you find helpful. In the interim period until your meeting room booking system is fully operational
to request catering requirements, I suggest that you email the hospitality booking request form to

This hospitality brochure is a guideline to what the catering team can offer, but feel free to
contact the site Catering Manager for any additional requests.
Please note that all bookings must go through the hospitality
booking system.

Booking Requirements
To help us offer the best service and choice to your guests please use the guidelines below when arranging for
hospitality to be provided. We will endeavour to meet all needs but this may be at a reduced level as some
items may not be available if not pre-arranged.
Should you need to cancel an event please let us know at the earliest opportunity to avoid any waste. A charge
may be required if this is not provided or we can not use the buffet for other functions.

to some of the working lunches and buffets available in this brochure

Terms & Conditions
It is important that we are given accurate information prior to your event so we can meet any individual
dietary requirements. Please read through the guide below to assist with your booking.
Kosher
A guest who follows a strict kosher lifestyle will not eat anything that has not been prepared in a traditional
Jewish kitchen. A complete Kosher meal with its own cutlery, crockery and glasses will be delivered which
meets KSA requirements.
Halal
For any guests who require Halal meat this can be provided with 48 hours notice from our usual butcher.
Vegetarian
Vegetarian options are listed in the menu with a (v). This indicates that the items are suitable for a
vegetarian e.g. contain vegetarian cheese but please check individual requirements with your guests.
Vegan
Guests who are vegans do not consume any animal products or by products including dairy. We can source
items suitable for these customers or amend our normal working lunch so please speak to your catering
manager.
Gluten Free
Some guests may have a gluten intolerance and are not allowed to eat any cereal or grain products. We
can provide an alternative meal or source Gluten free bread with 48 hours notice , however once opened
within the catering area this no longer makes the product gluten free
Lactose Free
For guests who have a milk/dairy intolerance alternative options can
be sourced or we can remove dairy items from the menu.
Allergies
We have listed some of the allergies above however feel free to
discuss any other requirements with your Catering Manager.
