10 Incredible Curling Iron Tricks You’d Never Think to Try
1) If you want Skinny, Tight Curls, twist your hair before you wrap it around the iron. It’s amazing for girls with wavy hair that
want a tight curl.
2) For a Modern Curl, don’t use the clamp. Want cool-girl straight ends, like Ashley Benson? Wrap your hair around the wand
and leave an inch or so out at the ends.
3) For Greater Hold, spray hairspray on your hair before you curl it. The heat will make the hairspray hold longer.
4) The closer to the root you start your curl, the longer it will last.
5) If you want Looser, Beachy Waves, pull lightly on the curl. Do it while its still warm so it loosens easily.
6) To get Quick, Easy Waves, pull hair up into a high ponytail and curl the tail. Once the curls cool take hair out of the pony and
shake your head, running your hands through your hair.
7) Don’t curl too much hair at once-it wont last. Take a one to two-inch section at the most.
8) For Prom-ready curls that will last all night, pin your curls to your head while they’re still hot. Slide the curl off the barrel and

American– Italian Pasta Salad
Ingredients (Serving Size 20)
1 (16ounce) package Fusilli Pasta..1 Cup mayo..1 Cup sour
cream..2 TBSP milk..1 (.7oz) package dry Italian-style salad
dressing mix..1 cup frozen petite peas, thawed..2 (2 oz) cans
sliced black olives..1 cup cubed Genoa salami..3/4 cup chopped
green onions..3/4 cup chopped celery..1/2 cup chopped fresh
parsley
Directions
1) In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente,
rinse under cold water, and drain. 2) In a medium bowl, combine,
mayo, sour cream, milk, and Italian dressing mix. Whisk together
until smooth, set aside. 3) In a large salad bowl combine cooked &
cooled pasta, peas, olives, salami, green onions, celery, and parsley. Mix in dressing last, reserving 1/2 cup. Let sit over night in
fridge. Stir before serving. Add extra dressing if pasta appears dry,

The Fourth of July is often looked at as a fun
summer celebration to enjoy a busy city parade filled with
family, friends, good food, and fireworks. It is easy to forget
the details behind this holiday so here are ten fun facts about
the history of Independence Day, so you can be reminded as
to why we celebrate on the Fourth of July. It’s a time to
celebrate our freedom and how far we have come:
1) The Declaration of Independence began as a letter to
King George to explain why the Continental Congress
voted to declare independence from Great Britain.
2) The Declaration of Independence was started on July 2,
1776 and the Continental Congress approved the final
wording on July 4th. The American colonies were declared
free and independent states.
3) The first Independence Day was celebrated on July 8th,
1776 and the official signing took place on August 2.
4) 56 people signed the Declaration of Independence.
Thomas Jefferson wrote the majority of it.
5) The first Independence Day on July 8, 1776 took place
in Philadelphia. The White House celebrated Independence
Day for the first time in 1804.
