GET READY FOR WINTER





Test your furnace – turn it on and ensure that it’s working, BEFORE you
need it! Expect a dusty smell which should dissipate within 15 minutes.
Change filter, if needed. Enter a work order request if it doesn’t operate as
expected.
Check ceiling fans. If fan has a reverse switch, have blades turn
clockwise (when looking up at the fan).
Unhook hoses and quick connect devices (the little insert that makes your
hose easy to connect) from outside faucets. Unhook after EACH USE until
freeze danger is past. This simple step can save hundreds of dollars in
repair costs from a burst pipe.
Stock up on supplies. Need a snow shovel or ice melt? Now’s the time to
buy. If winters are severe in your area, stock up on non-perishable items.
Stow your mower. Use up remaining fuel or add stabilizer, fill tank and
allow to run briefly to circulate.

YOUR FEEDBACK IS IMPORTANT TO US!
Nothing can replace our residents telling us how they like to be treated, what we are doing
right and what could be done better. It is a wonderful way to constantly enhance our service.
What defines great service? It means a lot of things to a lot of people. Ultimately, if our
definition of great service doesn’t match your definition, we’re not doing our job. We strive to
improve our level of service by gathering feedback from you and using that knowledge to
improve our performance.
Praise? We share it with the organization and thank those responsible for a job well done.
Complaints? We’re all over them, applying whatever resources we need to solve problems and
satisfy our residents. Now we’d like to know your thoughts on addressing everything in
between. Please tell us what you like about our service and what needs to be improved by
participating in our annual CEL survey and our online Maintenance Feedback Program.
In order for you to receive your annual survey (via email this year), we need to ensure we have
the proper email address for you. If you have had a change in your email or if you have
multiple email addresses, please let us know which email address to use for your survey. We
are only able to email the survey to one email address.
FREE RENT SWEEPSTAKES
In return for participating in our annual CEL survey, one lucky resident living at a Hunt Military
Communities property will win SIX MONTHS OF FREE RENT! You read that correctly – six
months! Do the math. It’s a nice chunk of change. That’s 6 months free rent for January 2015
through June 2015 at any Hunt Military Communities property. Please see the Official Rules of
the Sweepstakes on the following page.
As always, you may also provide feedback and comments by calling or visiting your Welcome
Center. Thank you in advance to those of you who will take a moment to participate in the days
ahead. We appreciate your commitment to making Robins Family Housing a community you
can be proud to call home.
