PRE-SHOW:
Light refreshments will be available before and after the performance from the theatre bar.
Each year we hold a raffle and bun stall to raise money for a local charity.
Any donations for the raffle are greatly appreciated. Buns are also needed!!
BACKSTAGE CHAPERONES:
Each group will be allocated at least 1 chaperone who is responsible for looking after the
children whilst at the rehearsal and performance. Please see ‘rehearsal information’ re.
signing children “in and out” to rehearsals.
Please can I remind everyone that ONLY the licensed chaperones & DBS Checked
helpers will be able to watch rehearsals and will be allowed backstage at any time. No
parents will be allowed in the auditorium to watch rehearsals. Please speak to me directly
if you would like to help out in any way. I still need ‘Front of House’ helpers and Theatre
Ushers. All volunteers will receive a complimentary DVD of the show.
PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING
Due to child protection legislation, filming and photography will NOT be permitted by
members of the audience. Martin Thornton will be filming the event and DVDs will be
available in September 2017. DVD’s can be pre-ordered on rehearsal days or on the day
of the show for a discounted rate.
Like last year, the amazing Chris Thornton will be taking some photographs of the
dances onstage during the dress rehearsal. He will also be setting up a photo studio
backstage for individual and group photos. Images are available to buy directly from his
website. Details will be posted on the closed Facebook group after the show.
