Would you like to listen to children read? We are looking for volunteers to listen to children read in the afternoon at school. If you are able to spare an hour or two or if you know anyone who would like to volunteer, we would love to hear from you. A DBS Check will need to be done and some safeguarding training to comply with current rules. It is a lovely opportunity to spend time with the children and they gain a lot from regular reading. Our current volunteers enjoy their time in school and make a real difference to the children. Social Media should not be used and we would draw your attention to the final paragraph of the Parent/Carer and Visitor Code of Conduct.
