released 80 individuals from the population. After waiting 2 weeks for the animals to mix back in
with the general population, she again caught 80 individuals and found that 22 of them were
tagged. Assuming that the ratio of tagged animals to total animals in the second sample is the
same as the ratio of all tagged animals to the total population in the preserve, estimate the total
number of kangaroo rats in the preserve.
