INTERNATIONAL ENTOMOLOGICAL CONGRESS AND ONE EXCLUSIVE DAY ON CURRENT SCENARIO AND MANAGEMENT OF PINK BOLLWORM From the Organizers in the Department of Entomology, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. Dear Colleagues We, the organizers, are pleased to announce that three days congress titled above will be held in University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan, from 16th to 18th December, 2016. The purpose of this congress is to provide an International forum for the presentations and discussions on various aspects of entomological research. Participants will be encouraged to present research findings or theoretical models that may range in focus from crop production technology to large scale ecosystem processes The official language of the meeting is English. Recently, Pink Bollworm (PBW) has emerged as menace, difficult to manage in cotton growing areas and this congress intends to encompass the various technical issues related to the biology and control strategies. A day in the congress will be fixed to arrange discussions on the above as well. Call for abstracts Abstract submission is now open for “International Entomological Congress and one exclusive day on current scenario and management of Pink Bollworm”. The deadline for abstract submission is November 5th, 2016. The abstracts (maximum 250 words) as MS word font 12, Times New Romans and document indicating the paper title (Bold), authors names (Italics) and their affiliation (Times New Romans) should be sent via e-mail to [email protected]. An email confirming the receipt of abstract will be sent to the corresponding authors. All accepted abstracts will be published in congress proceedings booklet.
