The FAC’s main building boasts an 800 seat theatre, several
exhibition spaces, a flexible function centre with dining and
conference facilities with water views. Cube 37 adjoins the
main building on Davey Street and includes a 194 seat studio
theatre, exhibition space, computer lab and the Glass Cube
gallery. The FAC manages the White Street Gallery in central
Frankston and produces selected outdoor events and festivals.

The FAC’s annual program features performances by national
and international touring companies. The free exhibition
program showcases local and international artists and most
artwork is available for sale.
The FAC hosts events by local schools and community groups,
offers a wide range of workshops and promotes accessibility
through its Arts Access program. The FAC’s facilities are hired
by commercial clients and community organisations, making
it one of Melbourne’s busiest venues.

their latest release, which sees a return to the classical
repertoire. The album includes works by composers such
as Bach, Elgar, Dvořák, Fauré, de Falla, Rachmaninoff

father Edward. The program will also include other works
highlighting Slava and Leonard’s diverse skills.
Together and Alone for the first time will present a song fest of

Ventana Fiesta 2017
This year Ventana features the murga carnival movement and the
journey of the vihuela (the guitar's predecessor) from Europe to the
Americas and its transformations to the present day.
We will also join the world's celebration to
pay tribute to Violeta Parra on the 100th
anniversary of her birth.

Become part of the carnival parade for Ventana Street Fiesta
2017! In this series of multi-art workshops you will become
part of an authentic South American murga carnival
community by learning the dances, songs, acting and craft
that form the parade plus the opportunity to get involved in
making your own costumes and props! It’s a fun and inclusive

Join the Murga Carnival Parade starting at the Frankston
Train Station at 12pm and immerse yourself in Latin
American, Portuguese and Spanish cultures throughout the
day with delicious BBQs, street food, authentic music and

enjoy while roaming the unique craft stalls.

A musical narration of the vihuela's journey from Europe to
the Americas in the 15th century and the transformations it
