Council (ISABC). The event was hosted by Saudi Ambassador to
Ireland, Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Drees at the Four Seasons
Hotel in Dublin on Tuesday 9th April.
‘True Gent’ Passes On
With deep sadness we learned of the recent passing of our
colleague, Gerry Macauley. Gerry passed away suddenly in Dubai

on 18th March. Gerry originally came from Ballynevin,
Bridgetown,
Co. Clare and later lived in Limerick City, both in Ireland.
Gerry had worked as a Site Commissioning Manager for Kentz’s
Technical Support Services Business Unit on a number of projects
in the Middle East and eastern Russia over the last number of
years. An avid reader in his spare time, Gerry had a passion for
collecting old die cast toy model vehicles and also had a keen
interest in aircraft and military models.
A resounding quote from his fellow workers was that “Gerry was a
true gent and will be greatly missed by all those who had the
pleasure of knowing and working with him”.
Our sympathies go out to his family and friends at this time. May he
rest in peace.
