CHICHESTER CATHEDRAL -Children in Years 1 and 2 recently represented the school at a service for schools at Chichester Cathedral. PARENT EVENINGS—Yr 1/2 Don’t forget the Parent Consultation evenings coming up next week—if you still haven't reserved your slot, there is just enough time to book with your child’s class teacher on Monday! A quick reminder to all Year 2 Parents—don’t forget that you need to apply for a place at your child’s next school (you do not automatically have a place at Central). This should be done online, or if you do not have a computer at home you can use the computers at your local library for free. The application deadline date is Tuesday 15th January 2013. WELLIES AND COATS! Please ensure your child has a pair of wellington boots to keep in school at all times. If the children have their wellies, they will be allowed to play on the grassed areas of the playground, otherwise, they must remain on the paved area on wet days. Please also be aware that we encourage the children to play and work outside on a regular basis—they therefore need warm coats and other relevant cold weather clothing in school everyday.
