trademarking the logos, so others can't use them without permission.
Ice Scheduler – Cully Reinbold/Mite Ice Scheduler - Jenny Bilicki
Ice is pretty quiet right now. We are hosting District 5 squirt B/10B playoffs at STMA, Feb 28- March 2. We will need
parents helping with that. I will let everyone know as soon as we receive the brackets for that. Preparing for upper level
mite jamboree as well Feb 21-23.
January Mite ice is loaded on the calendar. We had some last minute change requests for outdoor ice so I will post the
rest of the schedule this weekend (currently outdoor ice is posted through next week). I will enter February regular
game/practice schedule this weekend. This means the rest of the ice schedule up to the jamboree weekend will be
posted on the calendar by Monday!

Our first trimester incentive was a success! 187 skaters turned in report cards.
Congrats to all of them! Several different door prizes were drawn for all levels...some were: pizzas, mcdonalds,
subway and movie passes. Everyone got a treat and many had added rewards from the drawings. Finalizing
prices on gifts and getting ready to order.

I am working on a project for skaters in their last year with youth hockey. 2nd year Bantams and 2nd year
U14's. Send a photo of your skater from his/her first year in hockey. An action shot is OK but I would prefer a
professional one. Send to Team Managers. This does not include skater’s that moved up to HS (boys and
girls).
Volunteer Hours - Even if DIBS says you have completed your Volunteer Hours and you haven’t done your
Gambling Shift you are not done. Your check WILL be cashed at the end of the season if you don’t do your

SafeSport – Josh O
This is the time of year when reports are made.
Level Coordinators are usually the first to be contacted because people think that is where to go. This is no
longer the case since we have SafeSport in place. If you are contacted with a concern you need to direct that
person(s) to Josh ASAP. Josh will then take over and be the point of contact going forward. All reports need
to be going to Josh and all reports are confidential. Our Handbook needs to be updated to reflect this
information. The information that is in the handbook today is incorrect. The Executive Board will not make
decisions on SafeSport matters. The USOC will trump our handbook - always. USOC is the governing body that
USA Hockey, MN Hockey and Association Safesport report up to. Whatever penalty SafeSport puts into effect
is the the penalty.
