Level Coordinators are usually the first to be contacted because people think that is where to go. This is no longer the case since we have SafeSport in place. If you are contacted with a concern you need to direct that person(s) to Josh ASAP. Josh will then take over and be the point of contact going forward. All reports need to be going to Josh and all reports are confidential. Our Handbook needs to be updated to reflect this information. The information that is in the handbook today is incorrect. The Executive Board will not make decisions on SafeSport matters. The USOC will trump our handbook - always. USOC is the governing body that USA Hockey, MN Hockey and Association Safesport report up to. Whatever penalty SafeSport puts into effect is the the penalty.
