T h e holes
at each s h o t p o i n t are l i s t e d . . For m u l t i p l e hole s h o t s , t h e
spread numbers and t h e l e n g t h s of detonating cord a r e t h e same.
Total charge weights can be obtained by adding t h e weight of
powder i n t h e h o l e s which were s h o t i n t o a s p e c i f i c spread.
For example; Hl, H2, H3a, H7 and H8 a t SPI w e r e s h o t i n t o spread

The s t a t i c c o r r e c t i o n s . f o r each t r a c e were c a l c u l a t e d
by assuming t h a t each spread i s underlain by a s i n g l e l a y e r with
v e l o c i t y V1 and a h a l f space of v e l o c i t y V 2 .
The v e l o c i t i e s V1
and V2 were chosen f o r each spread by i n s p e c t i o n of d a t a from
s h o t s which f e l l w i t h i n t h e spread.
A
straight line f i t t o arri-
v a l times near the s h o t gave a "best" e s t i m a t e of
V I' t h e s l o p e
of the l i n e thru"more d i s t a n t phones gave a v e l o c i t y assigned t o
t h e h a l f space.
Inspection of t h e i n t e r c e p t s i n d i c a t e s t h a t t h e
e l e v a t i o n of t h e t o p of t h e a s s t q e d f i r s t l a y e r can be s a f e l y
assumed t o be below the datum.

The t y p i c a l motor constant of these geophones is .35v/h/sec.
T h e recordings on t h e t a p e s a t lOOdb g a i n - a r e t y p i c a l l y
one d i g i t a l count p e r Q.007 microvolts i n p u t , so one d i g i t a l
count corresponds t o 2.0 x lom2 inches/second of ground motion
a t lOOdb g a i n .
