Let’s fundraise for better bones...
together!
Blaze, Sneakers and Munch would like you to
join them on their quest to build stronger bones!
Big Bone Walk
The National Osteoporosis Society’s key fundraising initiative is the Big Bone Walk. A fun way for all ages to
get involved in raising vital funds for the charity whilst getting active in 2009. Walking is a great weight bearing
exercise to help build stronger bones. Whether it’s a walk around your playground, the local park or your school
grounds, a Big Bone Walk is easy and fun to do.
We will provide you with a step by step guide to creating a Big Bone Walk with invitations, certificates, posters,
sponsors forms and much, much more.
Charity Dance Show
Could you hold a Boogie for your bones dance event and invite parents, families and friends to come and watch
your performance? Charge each person a set entry fee and you can provide them with drinks and nibbles. Each
class can perform a dance based on the Craig Revel-Horwood steps before the final routine is performed in front
of your live audience. We will provide you with a full step by step guide of how to organise your dance show with
risk assessment check list, template letters to parents, posters, invitations and stickers for all your pupils.
Go Orange for Osteoporosis
A mufti day with a difference. On World Osteoporosis Day, Tuesday 20th October 2009, we want to help you turn
your school orange! For £1, each pupil can wear as much orange as they can find. A full fundraising pack will
provide all you need to turn your school orange for World Osteoporosis Day. The brighter the better. If you are
doing a Boogie for your bones dance then why not turn your school orange for the day you perform your dance?
Don’t forget...let us know when your event
