PebblePad Loading Issues Caused by Real Player Browser Recorder
If you're still having trouble logging into
PebblePad after trying our browser checks
available at
http://www.pebblepad.co.uk/browsercheck.asp
and receive a screen similar to the one
pictured here:
or a grey screen with two white bars in Internet
Explorer, this may be caused by the Real
Player browser recorder plugin.
If you're using Internet Explorer you
can check for this plugin by looking
in the tools menu, and choosing
“Manage add-ons”.
If you're a Mozilla Firefox user then you can
check under Tools and then add ons.
You may be able to get around these issues by disabling the plugins, but if you still experience
problems then we recommend uninstalling Real player, then installing again without the browser
record plugin.
While going through the installation process, you will be prompted to choose a few options on a
screen similar to the one above.
Unchecking the box next to the “Download & Recording” option will stop Real Player from installing
the browser plugins, but Real Player will remain fully functional.
