Slump
When material slips downhill along a
curved surface.
Creep
Occurs when sediment slowly shifts their
positions downhill. Trees can shift and
appear to bend from this.
Rockfalls/Rockslides
Occurs when blocks of rock bread
loose form a steep slope and tumble
through the air. Can cause other rocks
to start to tumble too almost like an
avalanche of rocks.
Mudflows
Happen when heavy rain fall cause
loose sediment to flow downhill. Or a
mudflow as a result of a volcano
(Lahar).
