ʯʯ Registration
In response to your request for travel, you receive
a document describing the route selected, a
quote, contract and general conditions of sale.
VOT reserves the right, before the final conclusion of the contract, to change the organization
of the circuit depending on the availability of
airfare and ­accommodations for travel dates.
The full identity (name and first name) of each
participant must be received no later than
ninety (90) days before the departure date.
ʯʯ Rates
VOT will send you a personalized quote showing the exact price per person, depending on
your departure dates, services provided and
those services paid by the group. Prices are
based on economic conditions prevailing at the
time of preparing the estimate. Any changes,
due to fluctuating exchange rates, transport
fares, royalties and fees for services provided,
will result in a price change. We will notify you
at the earliest and more than 30 days before
departure. This price change will not exceed
7% of the package cost without your authorization. VOT has the right to adjust the price of the
trip if a major fluctuation in the exchange rate
(more than 5%) happens between the registration and 45 days before departure.
ʯʯ Payment Terms
A contract is concluded when we receive a
payment of $ 350 per person accompanied by
the registration form group (duly completed
and signed by the head teacher and the teacher
in charge of the group) and selected quotes,
and dated signed. At that point, the contract
is concluded. The balance will be payable in
2 equal instalments at the same intervals. The
last of these payments is payable eight (8) weeks
prior to departure. In case of delay in payment,
a fee of 1% per day will be imposed on the balance due. VOT reserves the right to cancel the
contract for non-payment.
ʯʯ Cancellation, refund
In case of cancellation of all the participants,
VOT reimburses the amounts not committed
to the service, by deducting an administrative
fee of $ 100 per person.
If the trip must be cancelled by Voyages Objectif
Terre, the total amount paid by the group is
returned.
Any modification or adjustment to existing
arrangements (change of dates, destination
or spelling of names) will be subject to the
availability and fees.
In case of the cancellation by an individual,
whatever the reason:
• F rom the time of registration to 90 days before
departure: retention of 30% of the package;
•B
etween 89 and 60 days before departure:
retention of 60% of the package;
• L ess than 59 days before departure: retention
of 100% of the package.
It is important to note that refunds can take
place only if the minimum number of participants which was priced for the package
is reached.
Cancellation insurance is your only financial
protection in case of an unforeseen and major
event which requires a trip cancellation (illness,
accident, death in the family, etc.).
ʯʯ Withdrawal, repatriation
In case of the expulsion of a passenger by
the group leader or interruption of the trip for
personal reasons, Voyages ­Objectif Terre will not
be liable to the passenger of any ­refund and /
or compensation, whatever the nature. ­Voyages
Objectif Terre reserves the right to refuse registration of a passenger who previously would have
affected the welfare of a group with whom
he traveled.
ʯʯ Advertisement
Each participant agrees that Voyages Objectif
Terre uses for advertising and promoting its
name, its video image or photograph, as long as
it’s a group picture (no individual photo), in any
form whatsoever and in any medium whatsoever,
and in perpetuity without compensation.
ʯʯ Insurance Assistance
Voyages Objectif Terre proposes subscription to
travel insurance for each participant. This insurance covers most medical expenses, cancellation insurance and baggage insurance. Some
limits apply to this coverage. A detailed list of
what is covered will be given with your quotation. By signing this contract, the customer
accepts at the same time that the insurance
has been proposed. Voyages ­Objectif Terre cannot be held responsible if participants do not
choose the insurance we offer.
ʯʯ Claim
In the case where the group leader wants to
take Voyages Objectif Terre in a claim for misfeasance or breach of contract, it must notify
Voyages Objectif Terre by letter within one
month after the trip and provide all documents
evidence to establish the reality of the alleged
injury. After this period, we will not consider
any claim.
Voyages Objectif Terre is the guarantor of the
organization of visits and responsible for proper
performance, unless an event of force majeure,
such as conflict, war, terrorist activity, strikes,
change of timetable, accommodation or mode
of transportation due to unforeseen events or
if the act is attributable to the buyer. Voyages
Objectif Terre disclaims all liability in cases
where delay would be attributable to an airline.
When, after the departure of the group, one of
the essential elements of the contract cannot
be executed, Voyages ­Objectif Terre is committed to offering alternative benefits of equal
value or refund the price difference between
­benefits provided and those that have not been
provided.
ʯʯ Paperwork
The passenger must be informed of administrative and / or health requirements for the
execution of the trip. It is for the passenger to
take note. The performance and costs resulting
from the police formalities, customs and health
requirements for your trip such as passport,
parental permission, visa, medical certificate
and vaccination card are the obligations of the
passenger. We draw your attention to the fact
that the regulations require a valid passport
more than 6 months after the date of return.
In addition, minors must imperatively be in possession of identity documents in their name. If
the passenger fails to comply with the formalities
and health requirements and is therefore unable
to leave at the specified date, there will be no
reimbursement.
