NETWORK CAMERAS WITH WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE
Honeywell’s HDZ PTZ series are True Day/Night, wide dynamic network cameras.
They provide extremely crisp video that provide up to 570k effective pixels and up to
36x zoom for continuous surveillance in outdoor and indoor applications.
HDZ provides consistently high coverage to capture video images of interest. Its
360° continuous rotation function and zoom lens (30x indoor, 36x outdoor) with up
to 550 TVL (PAL) gives you the flexibility to view a target area with desired width and
depth. Electronic image stabilisation is also available for improved image quality in
unstable mounting conditions. Both HDZ indoor model has support for Power over
Ethernet (PoE+/PoE++) and installing either model is simple, saving you time on
site or allowing more domes to be commissioned per day. For critical infrastructure
requirements and in the event of a network failure, the, HDZ will continue to record
captured video to the Micro SDHC (if fitted) providing an additional level of security
for the user.
HDZ is also equipped with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which is ideal for
environments with high contrast and changing light conditions.
The camera in the outdoor version is housed by an IP66 rated tamper-resistant
dome to prevent the camera from damage by ingress of dust and heavy rain.
HDZ supports quad video streams and adopts multiple compression formats
(H.264 / MJPEG) with rates up to 60 frames per second (50 fps for PAL systems).
The digital compression parameters for the two video streams are independently
configurable.
