The Cay By Theodore Taylor The Cay is a story about an 11 year old boy, Phillip who is blind and racist. Also there’s Timothy, an old, kind, and black man. Philip's mom doesn’t feel safe with World War Two going on. So she decides to leave with Phillip. Then thier ship gets torpedoed, and Phillip gets stuck with Timothy. Phillip then becomes blind and Timothy spots an island. This story is about how they fight for survival and trust. Mr.Taylor has made an exciting book, the results are some nail biting parts and an overall outstanding story. A must read for any adventure reader!
