APPTACRULESANDREGULATIONS
Thepoliciesstatedbelowconstituteabonafidepartofthecontractforexhibitspace.Theexhibitsare
intendedforeducationalandinformationalpurposestoimprovephysicaltherapyeducation,practice,and
research.Theyshouldcomplementthemeetingandsessionsbyenablingregistrantstosee,hear,examine,
question,andevaluatethelatestdevelopmentsinequipment,supplies,andservicesrelevanttophysical
therapy.Allmaterial/equipmentshouldbetimelyandrelevanttophysicaltherapyandshouldcontainno
inaccurateormisleadinginformation.
TheAcademyofPediatricPhysicalTherapyreservestherighttorenderallinterpretationsanddecisions
shouldanyquestionsarise,andtoestablishfurtherregulationsasmaybedeemednecessarytothegeneral
successandwell-beingoftheexposition.TheAcademymayrestrictexhibitsthatdetractfromthegeneral
characteroftheexposition.Thisreservationincludespersons,objects,conduct,printedmaterial,or
anythingofacharacterthatmaybeobjectionabletotheexhibitsasawhole.Exhibitsshouldbepresented

BreachesofContract:Breachesorinfractionsofanexhibitor’scontractualobligationscouldaffectthe
statusofthecompany’sfutureeligibilitytoexhibitand/orresultintheterminationoftheexhibitor’s
displayprivilegeatAPPTexpositions.Terminationmaybecomeeffectiveduringtheexposition,atwhich

timetheexhibitormustremovehis/herexhibitassoonaspossiblewithoutdisruptiontotheexposition.
Expulsionof,orrestrictionsplacedon,anexhibitormaynotgiverisetoaclaimforanyrefundofrentalor
otherexpositionexpenses.
CancellationofExposition:ItismutuallyagreedthatintheeventofthecancellationofAPPTACdueto
circumstancesbeyondtheAcademy’scontrol,includingbutnotlimitedtofire,strikes,government
regulations,orcausesthatwouldpreventitsscheduledopeningorcontinuance,thenandthereuponthis
agreementwillbeterminated,andtheAcademyofPediatricPhysicalTherapy,atitssoleandexclusive
discretion,shalldetermineanequitablebasisfortherefundofsuchportionoftheexhibitfeesasis
possibleafterdueconsiderationofexpendituresandcommitmentsalreadymade.
EligibilitytoExhibit:TheAcademyofPediatricPhysicalTherapydeterminestheeligibilityofanycompany
orproducttobeexhibitedattheexposition,eitherbeforeoraftertheproperexecutionofthecontract.
First-timeexhibitorsmustsubmitproductliterature.First-timepublishersmustsubmitcopiesof
publicationswiththeapplication/contract.
FailuretoOccupySpace:Unlesspreviousarrangementsaremadeinwriting,anyboothnotoccupiedby
theexhibitingcompanyby12:00pmonFriday,November17,2017,willbeforfeitedwithoutrefundtothe
exhibitor,andthespacemayberesoldorusedbytheAcademyofPediatricPhysicalTherapy.
FDAMarketClearance:Noproduct,apparatus,instrument,device,ordrugthatisthesubjectoflitigation
pendingbeforetheUSFood&DrugAdministration(FDA)maybeexhibited.AllexhibitorsforwhichFDA
marketclearanceappliesshallhavedocumentationfromtheFDAonallproductsbeingdisplayedavailable
atthebooth.Thedocumentationshouldstatethemodelandregulatoryclassofthoseproductsthathave
beendeterminedtobemedicaldevices,asdefinedbytheFederalFood,Drug,andCosmeticAct,Section

InstallationandRemovalofExhibits:SetupandremovaltimesarelistedintheExhibitHallScheduleof
thisprospectus.Alldisplaysmustbesetupandremovedbytheindicateddeadlines.
Insurance:Eachexhibitingcompanyisrequiredtoinsureitselfagainstpropertylossordamageandagainst
