Heat contact B using a dry
soldering iron.
Flow small amount of solder
into bore hole of contact,
insert inner conductor of cable
and solder to contact.
The solder must flow at behind
for min. 8 mm.
If the cable does not fit into the
cable entry, use a flat-nose
plier to calibrate the braid.

Clean contact B and cable
dielectric, remove excess
solder.
Mount locator tool W 360 M
onto body A.
Insert cable into connector
body A.
Remove locator tool.
Soldering iron

connector A to cable.
Immediately cool dow n and
clean w ith alcohol.
Avoid excessive heat.
Promptly sw ap soldered area
w ith alcohol to cool joint and
remove any residual flux.

Slide shrink tube C over
solder neck and shrink to
connector body A.

For achieving better adhesive
sealing of the shrinking tube,
clean surfaces on body and
cable, e.g. w ith Acetone.

Glue of the shrink tube has to

Final Test:
check the location and
orientation of the cap, they
must engaged on the collar

damage to the cap

Pay attention: QMA-W50-Connectors hav e to be coupled caref ully ( O-Ring gasket). QMA-Female-Connectors hav e to correspond to standard
ref erence plane has to be proper and not damaged.
