EXAMPLE - Sit and Reach – Flexibility
Pass - Describe the test
The Sit and Reach test measures the flexibility of the hamstrings and lower back muscles,
using a low box marked with a cm scale. The participant sits with legs straight and feet
against the side of the box (shoes off) and leans forward to slide the magnetic strip as far up
the scale as possible in one fluent movement. They repeat this three times and record the
average.
