¾ At the beginning of the 1700's Marquis Baldinucci, treasurer of the Pope, had a
magnificent palace constructed with two imposing granite columns at the entrance
which the Marquis brought from Rome. Under the coat of arms of the Baldinucci
family you can read the epigraph “In Deo Spes Mea” (In God my hope).
¾ Today, Ciofi-Jacometti Palace has returned to its age-old splendor: the recent
restoration work was realized while fully respecting the original architectural elements
of the building, recovering the precious fabric, the period furniture and the original
frescoes dating back to the XVIII century.
The result is a unique atmosphere, remaining intact over the centuries in which

FOR YOUR WEDDING: THE MUSIC ROOM
In this room, protected by moving walls as in the past, there is a small stage which is still used
today for musical aperitifs or other entertainment shows.
Luxury and refinement are the predominant features in each atmosphere of the palace, from
spacious columns to the splendid bedrooms, culminating in the Royal Suites.
This magnificent room can host 70 persons comfortably seated or up to 100 if arranged with a
buffet table. Should you prefer a more intimate reception, the same room can be organized to
host 30 persons with an imperial table set up.
FOR YOUR FIRST WEDDING NIGHT
In the main floor of the Palace Ciofi-Jacometti you will find the two Royal Suites of the Relais
Santa Croce: Da Verrazzano and Dei Pepi.
Every detail was designed to create a unique environment where luxury and elegance match
harmoniously, where the aesthetic taste is accompanied by high quality comfort.
The suite "Dei Pepi" has a width of 90 sqm, with high ceilings entirely decorated with frescoes of
1700 and precious antique furniture.
The suite is equipped with satellite TV plasma from 42 inches in each room, pay per view,
electronic safe, high-speed Internet connection, direct telephone in every room, voice mail, mini
enriched with local delicacies craft, possibility of fax, wardrobe closet.
The bathroom, fully realized in marble, offers all the European comforts, with a Jacuzzi and a
separate glass-enclosed rain shower and integrated Turkish bath.
