Cheques made payable to “Myerscough College”. Times are available on the Friday before the competition between 11am and 1pm on (01995) 642115 or 642337or from web site www.myerscough.ac.uk**. Anyone not collecting times by 9am the following day may be deemed to have withdrawn and may be replaced by a competitor from the waiting list. Combined Training Rules The dressage and jumping phases, which make up this competition, must be ridden in that order. The same horse and rider combination must complete both phases, and elimination from one phase involves elimination from the whole competition. Scoring The marks for the dressage phase are totalled in the normal manner. Any faults incurred in the jumping phase are deducted from the marks awarded for the dressage phase. Equality If the final score gives equality of marks to 2 or more competitors, the result is decided by the highest marks for the dressage test. If there is still equality, the fastest time in the jumping test determines the result. Saddlery Dressage – According to BD rules Jumping – According to BS rules Rules and Regulations 1. Hats to current BSI standard must be worn and fastened at all times when mounted. 2. Liability – the organisers or anyone acting on their behalf accept no liability whatsoever for loss injury, or damage to any animal, property, persons, or vehicle how so ever caused. 3. Objections must be handed in to the secretary in writing, within half an hour of the event, together with a deposit of £20. The deposit will be forfeited if the show officials decide the objection is not sustained. 4. The management reserve the right to refuse an entry without giving reason and to cancel alter the time of any class, also to run any class in another ring. 5. ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE CLOSING DATE, HOWEVER THEY WILL CARRY A £2.00 SURCHARGE. 6. The management reserve the right to limit the entries in any class. 7. Competitors having entered a class are not entitled to a refund or to transfer any entries to another date should they decide to withdraw after close of entries. 8. All unaffiliated dressage competitions will be held under current British Dressage Rules. 9. All unaffiliated show jumping competitions will be held under current BSJA Rules 10. The judges, stewards, Myerscough College Staff and official helpers decision’s are final. 11. Strictly no lungeing. 12. Horses should not be left unattended when tethered. 13. Children must be kept under close supervision at all times. All tests and warming up will be on prepared surfaces.
