Traveling to Peloponnese is to meet myths, uncovering the prestigious
monuments whose names are in our memories from our childhood. Mycenae
and Agamemnon who led the Greek army during the Trojan War, the ancient
tragedies at the Theatre of Epidaurus with the legendary sound. Olympia, the
capital of all athletes. This is for the first time the man rubbed the gods in
Greek history and the games were dedicated to him. Peloponnese a
picturesque turns at random small tavernas for a meal with Mediterranean
flavors and hospitality of the people, beautiful hotels and of course lots of dirt
tracks. The ultimate adventure!!!.

Preparation of your 4x4:
Any 4X4 in perfect mechanical condition is fit to participate in the raid. No
special preparation is required.
The tires should be reinforced while fields are mandatory.
Reinforced shock absorbers are recommended.
Tire of reserve:
1 tire of the reserve is sufficient.
Navigation:
Terra trip or other odometer is mandatory in order to for follow the road
book.
GPS for the waypoints is recommended.
VHF is necessary to facilitate the communication with the organization.
Fuel:
The reservoir of series is sufficient because we will find refueling stations,
on our route. The diesel fuel in Greece today is at 1.10-1.20€/Lt. Under
title of modification until the day of the raid.

Boarding at Ancona (Italy). Night in the ferry.
13/05 (30km)
Arrival to Patra port. Small stage up to our bivouac near a beach.
14/05 (178km)
Starting to attack the slopes of mountains and arrive near the picturesque
and historic town of Kalavryta and our bivouac.
15/05 (213km)
Pretty tracks, some footprints in the world Acropolis Rally (WRC) to
descend to the east of the Peloponnese and join the road up to the
manmade Canal of Corinth. Another stage of the rally to reach our hotel.
Night and diner at the hotel.
16/05 (196km)
Stage up to the old Epidaurus theatre of the 4th century BC. A marvel of
Greek civilization! To Nafplio do not miss the visit of the citadel of
Palamidi.End of the day at our bivouac to the sea.
17/05 (215km)
Crossing the mountain Parnonas in order to reach Monemvasia. Bivouac
on the beach.
18/05 (233km)
Visit of Monemvasia, the strengthened city. A small Gibraltar in Greece. Its
name comes from two Greek terms, ‘’moni’’ and ‘’emvasia’’, meaning "
only channel " or " only dock ".
Leaving Monemvasia direction to Aeropoli in order to visit the caves of
Dirou. Then we pass by the picturesque villages of: Oitylo-Agios
Nikolaos-Kardamyli in order to close our day and reach our hotel nearby
the city of Kalamata. Diner and night to the hotel.
19/05 (163km)
Methoni and Pylos direction. Methoni was for centuries an important
trading port with strategic importance. The imposing castle, one of the
largest in the Mediterranean, occupies the entire west coast south of the
cape. The small town of Pylos, built in 1829 by the French expeditionary
force of Morea, is one of the most attractive cities of the cost in Greece.
It is built in an amphitheatre between two hills at the end of the bay of
Navarino, instead of the last naval battle between Turks and Greeks in
1827 when the English, Russian and French fleets infligѐrent at the
Turkish-Egyptian fleet one decisive defeat for the independence of the
Greece. End of the day at our bivouac on the beach.
20/05 (163km)
Crossing of the Arcadian mountains by the dirt tracks. Visit the Temple of
Apollo Epicurean perched at 1.130m and oriented north facing west on the
terraces of Mount Kotylion. Crossing the mountain by Kotylion tracks
before our descent by road to our bivouac on the sea.
21/05 (85km)
Visit the site of Ancient Olympia and its museum. The site and the facilities
of Olympia greeted the Olympic Games in ancient times and even today,
the Olympic flame is ignited several months before the opening ceremony
of the Olympic Games.
