We are so glad that you have chosen Watersprings School for your Summer Daycare/Day Camp!
We welcome you and pray that this will be a rewarding and positive experience for your child. Our
Summer Bible Curriculum, “Faith Case - Beatitudes,” is a dynamic curriculum that gives children a solid
understanding of biblical history and helps them to boldly share and defend the truth of the gospel.
We will be spending time in prayer, worship, and in God’s Word daily during our Bible time.
Children will also experience hands-on arts and crafts, and enjoy God’s creation outdoors during games
and recreation time. They will also have time for free play as well as quiet time for reading and listening
to stories. After the lunch hour, the older students will go on their planned activities for the day.
Activities and return times will be posted each day. (They usually return to the campus before 4:00 PM).
What to bring to our Summer Daycare/Day Camp


Sack lunch (snacks will be provided in the morning and afternoon)
An extra pair of clean socks, required for bowling and Blast Off
field trips (ages 5 and up)

Modest swimsuit, neon green shirt, and a towel for swimming and
water park field trips (ages 6 and up)

Sunscreen to keep at our facility

Water Bottle

Children may bring caps, visors, sunglasses, and an extra change of
clothes

Summer Daycare Rates
Registration Fee (per child)

$35.00 (after May 1)
*There is not a prorated rate for registration if you sign up late in the summer. If you register after August 1, a $200
down payment must be made on your account before your child can attend.
Hourly Rate
$3.35 first child
$2.70 second child
* If your child is only attending the afternoon activities, you will be charged the hourly rate plus the activity fee.
Summer Day Camp Trips
Please see the Summer Day Camp Fieldtrip Calendar for specific trips planned and prices. Our trips
include Bowl-ero, iJump, Aquatic Center, Blast Off, Possibly Picasso, Tautphaus Park Zoo, Flips Gymnastics,
Rexburg Rapids, and trips to local parks. The costs of each trip will range from $1.00 to $6.00. Some trips
are even free! The cost of fieldtrips is separate from the hourly daycare cost. Trips must be paid for in
advance. You can pay daily, weekly, or in any lump sum. Your child’s fieldtrip account balance will be kept by
the Summer Day Camp Coordinator. Please give your fieldtrip money to any teacher or daycare staff in a
labeled envelope/Ziploc. Please do not give your child extra spending money, unless specifically noted. Any
additional spending money should also be given to a daycare staff in a labeled envelope or Ziploc. Trips are
optional. If a student is not participating in the fieldtrip, they will stay in daycare.
*Most activities are for children who are ages 5 and up.
*Swimming and water park activities are for children ages 6 and up.

*A few trips require waivers (including iJump and Flips). Please be sure to complete these prior to fieldtrip
dates. See weekly newsletters for reminders and updates regarding waivers.
Children 3 & 4 Years Old
What to bring:
 Sack lunch (snacks will be provided in the morning and afternoon)

 Small blanket and pillow (no full size pillows/jumbo pillow pets please)

All children ages 3 – 4 will have a rest period between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00.
Other Information
VBS is the week of June 26-30. All daycare children ages 4-10 will be able to attend VBS. Children will be
clocked out of daycare when they attend VBS and will be clocked back in to daycare when they get back.
Discipline Policy: When a child’s behavior or attitude is in conflict with the standards of the school, every
effort will be made to encourage the child to demonstrate the change and improvement necessary to comply
with these standards. Methods of discipline may include: a meeting with the child and staff member,
excluding the child from an activity, a phone call, text or email home, etc.

their employees and any other adult persons into whose temporary custody my child has been entrusted by Watersprings
School, to make any decisions as may be reasonably necessary for the personal care of my child in my absence.
Watersprings School will make reasonable efforts to contact me, and if I am unavailable, those persons listed on my child’s
emergency contact form prior to the authorization of any medical treatment. However, in the event of an emergency, and
neither I nor any of those persons listed on my child’s emergency contact form can be reached, I authorize Watersprings
School and other adult persons into whose temporary custody my child has been entrusted by Watersprings School, to
consent to x-ray examination, anesthesia, medical, dental, or surgical diagnosis and treatment, including hospital care

Daycare/Day Camp Contract
DAYCARE PAYMENTS – Daycare will be billed every 2 weeks via email. If you would like a paper statement, you may
come into the office and request one. Payments for daycare are due the following Monday after receiving the daycare
statement. If your account becomes 30 days delinquent, we may require you to take your child out of Summer Daycare/Day
Camp until the balance is paid in full. If you do not make the necessary arrangements to satisfy your obligation, we will turn
your account over to Merchants Credit Association. This policy will be strictly enforced.
FORM OF PAYMENTS – Payments can be made by cash, check, debit or credit card. There will be a fee charged for each
credit transaction.
RETURNED CHECK FEE – There will be a $25.00 returned check fee if an NSF check is returned to us by our
bank. You will be notified immediately and will need to make up that payment in full with cash, cashier’s check, or
money order only.

Fieldtrip Schedule
This schedule is subject to change. Please check the weekly newsletter for up-to-date fieldtrips and costs.
Fieldtrips are optional. Campers may remain at school or choose to go on the trip. Fieldtrips need to be paid
for in advance, to any daycare staff.
Please send fieldtrip and/or spending money in a labeled envelope or Ziploc. Thanks!
