1402 of Saint Peter, Chorley, commences at the boundary stone of the said parish of Chorley, on the Preston turnpike-road, adjoining to the township of Whittle-le-Woods, in the parish of Leyland, and proceeds in a north-easterly direction along the boundary of the said township of Whittle-leWoods, and easterly along the boundary of the township of Heapy, in the said parish of Leyland, to the point where the townships of Heapy, Heatli Charnock, and Chorley meet; thence in a southerly direction, along the boundary of the townships of Chorley and Heath Charnock to the reservoir of the Chorley Water-works; thence along the north side of the said reservoir to a road leading from the said reservoir into a lane leading from Cross Hall Fold to the White House ; thence in a south-westerly direction up the centre of the said lane to the centre of a bridge which crosses the Leeds and Liverpool Canal; thence in a northwesterly direction along the centre of the said canal to the foot bridge connecting the path from Cross Hall Mill across Eaves-lane opposite to Moss Cottage; thence in a north-westerly direction down the centre of Eaves-lane to Stump-lane; then westerly along the centre of Stump-lane to the bridge over the Lancashire and" Yorkshire Railway; then along the centre of the said railway in a northerly direction to the bridge in continuation of Harper's-lane; then south-westerly and north-westerly along Preston-street and Preston turnpike-road to the said boundary-stone, where the said district chapelry of Saint Peter, Chorley, commenced, as the same is more particularly delineated on the map or plan hereunto annexed, and is thereon tinted pink. " Your Majesty's said Commissioners beg leave further to represent, that it also appears to them to be expedient that banns of matrimony should be published, and that marriages, baptisms, churchings, and burials, should be solemnized or performed in the said church of Saint Peter, Chorley, and that the fees to arise therefrom should belong and be paid to the minister or incumbent of such church for the time being: " That the consent of the Right Reverend James Prince, Bishop of the said diocese of Manchester, has been obtained thereto, as required by the Acts and sections hereinbefore mentioned, in testimony whereof he has signed and sealed this representation. " Your Majesty's said Commissioners therefore humbly pray, that your Majesty will be graciously pleased to take the premises into your royal consideration, and to make such Order in respect thereto as to your Majesty in your royal wisdom shall seem meet." Her Majesty, having taken the said representation, together with the map or plan thereunto annexed, into consideration, was pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to approve thereof, and to order, as it is hereby ordered, that the proposed assignment be accordingly made; and the recommendations of the said Commissioners, in respect of the publication of banns, and the solemnization of marriages, baptisms, churchings, and burials, and the fees arising therefrom, be carried into effect, agreeably to the provisions of the said Acts; and Her Majesty, by and with the like advice, is pleased to direct that this Order be forthwith registered by the Registrar of the diocese of Manchester. HEREAS Her Majesty's Commissioners for W building new churches have, in pursuance of the fourth section of an Act, passed in the session of Parliament holden in the seventh and eighth years of Her Majesty's reign, intituled " An Act concerning banns and marriages in " certain district churches or chapels," and of the seventeenth section of an Act, passed in the session of" Parliament holden in the fourteenth and fifteenth years of Her .Majesty's reign, intituled " An Act to amend the Church Building " Acts," duly prepared and laid before Her Majesty in Council, a representation, bearing date the sixteenth day of April one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two, in the words following; viz.: " Your Majesty's Commissioners for building new churches beg leave humbly to represent to your'Majesty, that on or about the fifteenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and forty-two, your Majesty's said Commissioners, with the consent of the late Right Honourable and Most Reverend William, Archbishop of Canterbury, made 'a representation to your Majesty in Council, that it appeared to them to be expedient, and therefore humbly prayed that a particular district might be assigned to the consecrated church .of the Holy Trinity, situate at Margate, in .the parish of Saint John, Isle of Thanet, in the county of Kent, and diocese of Canterbury, under and by virtue of the power or authority for such purpose contained in the .sixteenth section of an Act of Parliament, passed in the fifty-ninth year of His Majesty .King George the Third, intituled 'An Act to amend and render more * effectual an Act, passed in the last session of ' Parliament, for building and promoting the ' building of additional churches in populous 4 parishes;' and that such proposed district .should be named or called ' The Trinity District Chapelry, Margate;' and that the boundaries thereof should be such as were mentioned or described in the said representation: "Your Majesty's said Commissioners also represented that it appeared to them to be expedient that baptisms and churchings should be solemnized or performed in Trinity Church aforesaid, and that the fees to arise therefrom should be paid and belong to the minister of such church for the time being: " Your Majesty's said Commissioners beg leave further to represent, that by an Order of your Majesty in Council, bearing date the eleventh day of March one thousand eight hundred and fortytwo, your Majesty was graciously pleased, by and with the advice of your Privy Council, to approve of the assignment of the said district, and was pleased to order that the same should be accordingly made, and also that the recommendations of your Majesty's said Commissioners in respect of the solemnization of baptisms and churching?, and of the fees arising therefrom, should be carried into effect, agreeably to the provisions of the.said Act.: 44 Your Majesty's said Commissioners beg leave further to represent, that the said Order in Council did not direct that, banns of marriage should be published, .and marriages solemnized in the said church, or that burials should be performed therein; and that having taken into con-
