*Zippered binders are an acceptable option for
junior and senior high.
**Calculator Information
Junior High
The junior high mathematics program requires
students to have a calculator, starting in Grade 7.
The following keys or functions are recommended by
Alberta Education: MC, M+, M-, MR, percent key,
sign change key (+/-), reciprocal key, square,
square root, symbols. A basic scientific calculator is
all that is needed.
It is suggested that expensive calculators not be
purchased due to the possibility of breakage or loss.
Senior High
Good quality graphing calculators are required for all
high school 1 and 2 Math courses.
TI 83 Plus or TI 84 Plus is recommended.
Before purchasing a calculator, check with the
Math Dept. at the school or the Alberta
Education website, as not all graphing
calculators meet the necessary requirements
and some advanced calculators are not allowed
for Diploma Exams.
Junior and Senior High Art
