HOLZ THIRD NINE WEEKS AWARDS 2015
We are very proud of our students' accomplishments! Students will be honored in
their classrooms when report cards go home for Principal’s List (4.0 GPA), A Honor Roll
(3.5+), B Honor Roll (3.0+), Perfect Attendance, and Good Citizenship (all Ss in
Approaches to Learning ratings that deal with citizenship on the Kanawha County
Schools report card). Check your child’s report card for these qualifications. We will
also recognize students meeting Accelerated Reader Point Leader requirements for the
nine weeks. In addition, our principal, Miss Simon, and our counselor, Mrs. Davis
recognize the following students and post certificates in the cafeteria and the front hall:
January/February/March Student of the Month – Awarded by classroom teachers and
the principal based on accomplishments and leadership qualities demonstrated in
school.

January/February/March Caught Being Good – Awarded by any adult in the building,
and by fifth grade safety patrols, for actions demonstrating character traits such as
responsibility, respect, caring, citizenship, fairness, trustworthiness, honesty,
perseverance, and caring. Prizes are distributed by the principal and parents notified.
