Biography
Noralyn is a twenty-four year old alternative-pop singer songwriter from Brisbane, often
compared to artists such as Tori Amos and Kate Bush. Noralyn was brought up on classical
music, and began piano lessons at eleven. She “secretly” began listening to pop and
contemporary styles of music as a teenager, and with this, discovered her love of song writing
as a means of expressing her musings on life, faith and people. She continued her classical
music studies at university, where song writing was her constant distraction. During this time
she performed as a duo with her sister releasing an EP for charity. In 2013 she was awarded a
performance scholarship for classical piano which took her to England, but she could not be
kept long from her hearts calling of writing and performing her own songs. In 2015 she
begins her pursuit of a career as a solo singer-songwriter, with the release of her debut single
Masquerade.
