Dear Families,
The children of St. Joseph participate in many special events throughout the catechetical
year where we often have many great photo and video opportunities to share in our church’s
website. We would like your permission to use photographs and/or videos taken during
class time, field trips, special events or celebrations posted internally inside St. Joseph’s
Church and on its website.
St. Joseph Church would like your permission to use photographs/ videos of children for
publicity purposes. We promote our catechetical program by mainly using our church’s
website, but it can also include brochures and other types of promotional materials.

Child Lures Prevention Training
Dear Parents,
All of us are aware of the dangers that children are exposed to these days. Since
December 2004, the Child Lures Prevention Program was mandated by Bishop Nicholas
DiMarzio to be presented to all children who attend Catholic Elementary school or a Faith
Formation program in the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens.
Bishop Nicholas Di Marzio expects every parish to present the Child Lures
Prevention program every year to every child enrolled in a Faith Formation program. Any
parish that refuses to present the prevention video is of course liable for the United States
Catholic Conference of Bishops audit, but our most important concern is the safety of our
children.
Please sign and return the below compliance sheet to the director of religious
education at the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph.
