Mike is very excited to once again be part of the
SEAC program and looking forward to a very
competitive season. Mike was born and raised in
Medicine Hat. He played the majority of his hockey
in Medicine Hat, finishing with the Junior B Cubs.
Mike has 16 years of coaching experience, including
Timbits through to the Midget AAA level. Mike
has also volunteered his time and has held various
positions on the Medicine Hat Minor Hockey
Board. Mike’s family consists of his wife, Michele,
and two boys Evan and Eric.

Chad Gans was born in Leader, Saskatchewan and
raised in Medicine Hat where he played most of his
minor hockey. He went on to play in the WHL for
the Lethbridge Hurricanes, Moose Jaw Warriors and
the Spokane Chiefs. After the WHL Chad went to
the University of Alberta to get an Education Degree
and win 2 National Championships with the Golden
Bears. He has worked in Medicine Hat at Notre Dame
Academy, in the hockey program for the past 10 years.
He and his wife Amy reside in Medicine Hat with their
3 children, Derrian 22, Kolter 8, and Keaten 7.

Brayden Desjardins was born in Calgary, Alberta.
Growing up, Brayden spent parts of his childhood
in Germany, Japan, Calgary, Medicine Hat, Dallas
and Austin. He played his minor hockey in Calgary,
Medicine Hat and Dallas. Following hockey,
Brayden is in the early stages of pursuing a career.
Now residing in Medicine Hat, he works with the
Notre Dame Academy hockey program as well
as assisting strength and conditioning classes at
Badlands CrossFit this past summer. He has also had
experience working with the Texas Stars in a minor
video technician role. Brayden is excited to once
again have the opportunity to work with this group
of athletes this season.
