We completed successful DHS survey!!! We were rated at 96% in CILA and 94% in
Developmental Training. We did so well that the Bureau of Accreditation and
Licensure (BALC) will not be back to see CILA for three years. DT is surveyed
annually by regulation, but it will be a quick visit next year thanks to everyone’s

Triple Diamond Designs Project
Triple Diamond Designs has been
knitting hats for babies. They
have been donating the adult hats
to a shelter for homeless people
for several years. Recently they
began to make baby hats and
donated some to a hospital . It
occurred to program director
Patrice Brice that there are lots of
Trinity employees or their family
members having babies, and
maybe they would like a hat for
their newborns, too.
All it takes for Trinity
employees to receive a hat is to
let Patrice know about the
expected birth. Patrice does ask
that recipients take a photo of
the baby wearing their hat and
sending it to Triple Diamond
Designs. They are making a
sort of collage of the photos and
really enjoy seeing the result of
their efforts!
Patrice can be contacted at
[email protected] or call
815-463-4695.

Though

people are killed each year by
lightning, and hundreds more are
severely injured. While lightning
fatalities have decreased over the
past
30
years,
lightning
continues to be one of the top
three storm-related killers in the
United States.
