Threshold Level of Toxicity - Lauralton Hall

Part C – Threshold Level of Toxicity
The Threshold Level of Toxicity marks the lowest concentration or dosage of a substance that
consistently results in symptoms of toxicity (typically noted by a change in behavior or
physiological response – fever, nausea, vomiting, etc). If test subjects do not exhibit any early
signs of toxicity, the threshold level of toxicity can also be thought of as the lowest
concentration or dosage in which statistically significant numbers of the population begin to
die-off.
