At the Britannia Mine Museum (BMM), we value how Canadians view the mining industry and its connection to
their everyday lives. Over the past several years, we have successfully re-developed into a multi-award winning
attraction reaching tens of thousands of Canadian families each year.
We believe Britannia can enhance how Canada’s modern mining industry is perceived � in terms of
technological advancement, sustainability, environmental and social performance.
In order to reach our goals, we’re asking mining companies and associated support and service businesses

Of the 70,000 people who visited Britannia last year, more than 10,000 were students participating in curriculumbased field trips. Our focus moving forward is to continue to create high-impact and immersive exhibitry to engage,

• the significant value and important uses of minerals found in abundance and produced in Canada; and
