It’s time to play operation at the Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum camp! On July 16
from 1:00-4:00 pm we will be strapping on some surgical gloves and learning about past and
present practitioners in our community. Come to the museum and apply your own healing hands
at our camp!
All Burnt Up: Fire and Rescue in Wetaskiwin-July 23rd
Things will heat up at the Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum’s camp on July 23 from
1:00-4:00 pm. Learn about how our city rose from the ashes and is now protected by our heroic
volunteer fire fighters. Get some tips on fire safety and prepare for an inferno of fun at our
museum camp!
Boogie Woogie Choo Choo Trains -July 30th
Track our historic trains at the Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum at our July 30th summer
camp from 1:00-4:00 pm. Become a conductor for a day and follow the historic rails of
Wetaskiwin. From the steam engine to the Light Rail Transit, we’ve got a seat saved for you!
Come Together: Multiculturalism in the City-Aug 6th
On August 6 from 1:00-4:00 pm the Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum will be taking a
voyage around the world. Tour with us and get a glimpse into the lives of our city’s founding
families that hail from countries far and wide. Listen, learn and share our community’s dynamic
cultural roots at our museum camp.
We’re Diggin’ It: Archeology in Wetaskiwin-August 13th
Uncover our past on August 13 at the Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum camp. From
1:00-4:00 pm the sands of time will shift to unveil the pillars of archeological history throughout
our community. Feel like Indiana Jones as you dig up the gems of our shared past.

August 20 from 1:00-4:00 pm. You will be shocked, awed and amazed at the treasures unveiled
at this summer camp. History is always full of surprises here at the museum.
