Bring exact change or a check with your student ID# on it to purchase one at lunch in the Activities Office. GUEST DANCE TICKETS: On March 20 there will be a Spring Spirit Week Formal Dance which is included in the price of your Spirit Week wristband. However if you wish to bring a guest to this dance, you will need to fill out a permission form which is available in the Activities Office. 3 VS 3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT: March 16 and March 17 this event will be held in the gym with all games beginning at 3 pm. Sign-up sheets are in the Activities Office and need to be handed in to the Attendance office no later than Fri March 13. Entry fee is one canned food item per person. Friday March 27 is our next regular Dress Down Day. SOME REMINDERS: STUDENT AMBASSADORS NEEEDED: for the LC Spring Events with Parish School students and families. What is required is your enthusiasm for LC. You can sign up for one event to be an ambassador or several. Two events are needed per semester to include this as an activity group on your college applications. It is a great way to meet families and possible new students. Thurs April 16: 7th Grade Universal Visitation Day & also Spring Open House (6:00-9:00 pm) SUMMER PROGRAM: Temple University College of Engineering is sponsoring a five-week program on the topic of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Robotics from July 7th through August 6th on the campus of Temple University. The cost of the program is $550. A teacher must approve your application. This program is especially appropriate for students involved in Robotics. Pick up an application packet in the Guidance Office. Deadline to apply: May 1, 2015. (post until March 20) SUMMER PROGRAMS: Veterinary Medicine and Culinary Cooking Are You Looking for Something to Do This Summer? Manor College in Jenkintown, Pa is sponsoring two summer programs. One is an Introduction to Veterinary Medicine. The other is Culinary Cooking Camp. Both are held for one week each in July. The cost is $349 for a one-week session. More information is also available on the bulletin board in the Guidance Office. ELECTRONICS RECYCLING EVENT: Sat April 11 will be our next Electronic Recycling Day from 9am-1pm. Check out www.lcinformation.org/erecycle for more information. LOST AND FOUND: Any boy that wore a sports jacket to the Christmas Ball, please check that you have the correct jacket at home. We are looking for a Chaps 40 Regular jacket. If you do have the wrong one at home, please bring it to Mrs. Casey in the Attendance Office and we can make a switch! MONDAY MORNING PRAYER GROUP: Join the Monday Morning Prayer Group in the Chapel between 7:15-7:45 AM EVERY Monday. Drop-Ins welcome! We meet for prayer, music, and a few moments of quiet before the week starts. TUTORING FOR ALL STUDENTS AVAILABLE: Tutoring is offered every morning during homeroom in the Resource Center.
