Step-By-Step Lynx Touch with Z-Wave Thermostat Temperature Threshold Monitoring The Lynx Touch panels with the Honeywell Z-Wave Thermostat can be set up to monitor the temperature to alert the user if the room temp goes above or below a desired setting via the following notification methods: • • Local Sounder Central Station report • • Follow Me Report Total Connect 2.0 Steps: 1. ‘Include’ the Z-Wave Thermostats in the automation section of panel according to Lynx Touch Automation manual. 2. The Threshold Monitoring zones are located on zones 180-185 for the L5200. (Also add zones 186 and 187 for the L7000). Program the respective zones for each Z-Wave thermostat in zone programming. a. Z-Wave Thermostat 1 program zone 180 for high temp monitoring and zone 181 for low temp monitoring. b. Z-Wave Thermostat 2 program zone 182 for high temp monitoring and zone 183 for low temp monitoring. c. Z-Wave Thermostat 3 program zone 184 for high temp monitoring and zone 185 for low temp monitoring. d. Select the Scheduling Icon 2. If Threshold Monitoring has not been programmed in the Lynx Touch after panel sync has been completed, the Threshold Monitoring Hi and Low will not be displayed. 3. Drag the High and Low Thresholds to the desired Temperature and press “Save” 4. Finally, you must sync the data to the panel before these setting will take effect.
