This class will brim with creativity as students craft exotic tropical-themed art. A variety of exciting art projects
will be created including: Funky birds, dazzling fish, sea shell art, and ocean life in a variety of mediums, vibrant
batik wall hangings, and more inspired works of art.
Ages 4-7
Tuesdays 2:30-4:00pm $90 or ($20 per class)
June 27, July 11, 18, 25, Aug 1, 8 (no class July 4th)
Rainbow fairies, adorable gnomes, wizards, elves, unicorns, and magical dragons, will come to life in large and
small sizes. A class filled with imagination, myth, and fantastical art. A variety of art mediums will be used including drawing, painting, paper mache, clays and lots of magical sparkles.
Ages 12-16

This class is designed to help beginning, to advanced students find the artistic confidence and a unique voice
in their work. Paul will work with students in a semi-private environment working in a media of their choice
(charcoal, acrylic, oil, pastel, watercolor, drawing pencil, or mixed media) with personal inspired themes. Paul
is thrilled to be teaching this class and helping young artists find a voice through their art. Personal themes and
exploration are welcome.
Ages 7 - 13
Wednesdays 3:30-5pm

A creative class exploring pottery wheel techniques, hand building methods, and major creativity. Learn basic
skills on the pottery wheel (we will rotate time during class), and exciting hand building work incorporating the
theme of summer, ocean, and animal art. If you love to work in clay this class is a must for you.
Ages 7-13 Thursdays 330-5pm $120 or ($20 per class)
June 29, July 6, 13, 20, 27, Aug 3, 10 (7 weeks)
A summer tradition of drawing, painting, and taking photos in the harbor, as well as a few field trips to local
gardens, galleries, and the lighthouse. This class is such a great summer class, and we have the perfect location
to offer this with glorious places for walkabouts. Students will have their own sketchbook for drawing, and all
finished masterpieces will be on stretched canvas, watercolor paper, or masonite, plus a few framed images.
Ages 10-18 (Older artists & Adults welcome) Thursdays 6-7:30pm $125 or ($25 per class)

Take this opportunity to design and paint your own skateboard, surfboard, helmet, fin, I Pad cover or cell phone
cover with your own original surf or skate art. Personalize your equipment with your own handwork that you
will be proud of. Paul is a local surfer and art educator that will help guide you with ideas and themes you will be
excited about.

Take an opportunity to paint the inspirational scenery of Scituate and vicinity. Semi-private instruction will be
delivered, as this class is limited to five students. Methods for capturing fast changing conditions will be the
focus. Instructor will contact students prior to the first class for advice on material list. A “Plein air” easel is
strongly recommended.

Cartooning, Aliens, and Monsters...with Caleb
Ages 7-13 10am - 12pm $105
If you already have taken classes with Caleb than you know he is totally off the wall and a blast and a half. If you
haven’t taken class with this howler you are in for a real treat of inspiration. Caleb is on fire with great ideas andbrings out the best in everyone with an incredible amount of fun and camaraderie. For the veteran cartoonists they
will continue to work on writing, drawing, and completing an extended 3-5 page comic book with an original story
and characters. The new students after a brief explanation of the basics will begin to work on writing, drawing, and
completing a 1-2 page comic book with original stories and characters. Caleb is a blast and this class is always a barrel full of laughs and fantastic comics.
This class is a summer tradition at the studio. A week long adventure filled with creativity, fun, camaraderie, and brushing up on your drawing & painting skills. We will journey in the harbor to draw, go to galleries, travel to local gardens and places of beauty, and create masterpieces. Students will have their own
sketchbook for drawing, and all finished masterpieces will be on stretched canvas, watercolor paper, or
masonite, plus a few framed images. Young artist will also have the opportunity to take photos and create
some collage pieces. This will surely be a fabulous class filled with creativity. Personal style & interests are
encouraged.
Roll up your sleves and get ready for mess. This week is devoted to clay. Join in this exciting class creating many gems on and off the pottery wheel. Learn basic skills on the pottery wheel (we will rotate time
during class) and explore handbuilding work incorporating the themes of summer, ocean, and animals, as
well as personal themes for those who have taken classes before and wish to explore a theme. If you love
to work in clay this class is a must for you.
Every summer it is a tradition to have an ocean inspired class. This year it will be brimming with many of my favorite things. We will design mermaids (or mermen), colorful tye dies, dazzling ocean batiks and pillows, amazing ocean
resin pieces, sea life sculptures and more. Many art mediums will be explored including sewing, mixed media, clays,
and lots of sparkles, gemstons, and sea glass.
A week filled with enchanted art using a variety of art mediums. This class is tailored to please both boys and girls.
Girls can have a time of fairies and unicorns, and boys can focus on wizards and dragons (or whatever your imagination can conjure up). We will touch a bit on the fantasy of Harry potter, castle imagery, and imaginative animals, as
well as design a fantastical wooden garden sculpture. This class will take on the flavor of magic, creativity, and enchantement.
Join Caleb in this fun filled adventure drawing cartoons and sculpting creatures to go along with your stories. This
class will use a variety of materials, including clays, to create these zany creatures. Students will frame their favorite
image, as well as design a creative diorama.

Using sea glass, gems, ocean treasures, create a dazzling framed resin piece. Stop by to see examples if you like. These are gorgeous pieces of art you see in boutiques, and now you can make
your own.
2-4pm $58
Using gorgeous glass create your own framed mosiac. Come to studio to see examples if you
wish. They come out absolutely Divine.
