Keakie Breakdown
“You were born an artist, stay one”
NTS Radio Show Proposal
Keakie Ltd
Our mission is really
simple
“To inspire people to create a better world through art.”
The Problems:
- We are bombarded with the same songs time again by traditional radio outlets.
- We don’t often get the creative story behind the production of great songs.
- We aren’t inspired to think differently, by shows like the Breakfast club, Sway.
The Solutions:
- Our listeners discover new local and international artists on a regular basis.
- Our listeners get a sneak peak into the lives and stories behind great songs.
- Our listeners are inspired to to break social structures and stay childish for life.

Halftime Highlights
On the track Vic traces his catharsis and purges his
demons. The message he shares and relays to the
readers/listeners is his apotheosis of sorts through
past problems. With the end of the mixtape, Vic sums
his pent up ambition and just burning flame into a
single track that paves the hype for the upcoming
album.

Tory Lanez
Luv - new single from his debut album, ‘I told
you’. Heavy dancehall influence. Trend?
Joey Purp
Does a lot of work with Vic Mensa. Chicago
rapper. Dropped The Purple Tape on his 18th
birthday. Instrumentation reminds of Jay Z
American Gangsta album
The title of the EP and this song was inspired by a
Guns N’ Roses music video. As Vic explained it to
Billboard:
The name was inspired from a Guns N’ Roses music
video. At the end of “Don’t Cry,” they write “There’s
alot going on. P.S. thanx” and it just felt like it
encompassed and represented the state of my life and
the lives of the people around me. Just with the world
we live in today, especially when I was making the
music, it seemed like every week, there was just a new
groundbreaking event. We got Prince passing, David
Bowie passing away – major influences of mine – and
at the same time, you got Flint, Michigan [water crisis]
going on, black kids being shot dead in the street by
police. You can’t even count the names [of people
who have died]. So, yeah, when I saw that Guns N’
Roses video, it kind of just clicked.
Kanye approved of the self-directed video, released
for the song on June 3rd
Halftime Highlights: This Week’s Events In Hip Hop
Ady Suleiman
Lil Wayne had 2 seizures mid air. The first he just
played off and didn’t require treatment. The second
they had to bring the plane down for him to get
treatment. He left hospital, and tweeted “thanks for
the support, love y’all”.
Any started writing music at the age of 14, and
is of part Tanzanian descent. Supported the
likes of Professor Green at Glastonbury before
getting the Breakthrough Act of the Year award
in 2014.
There were rumours that Vic Mensa and Chance the
Rapper got into a beef after Vic Mensa blocked him
off an Instagram post. But Vic patched up this beef
saying that the two collaborators were on great terms
- fantastic news.
Clams Casino
Partynextdoor and Jeremiah announced that they
were releasing a joint album called Late Night Party.
This comes before his widely anticipated P3.
Produced tracks for the likes of ASAP Rocky,
Mac Miller, and worked with the likes of Big Krit
and Lana Del Rey. This is some of his first
original music, and has been widely anticipated.
Schoolboy Q announced the title of his next LP, called
Blank Face. He’ll release the album on 8th July, 2016.
Many Thanks
Look forward to hearing from you!
