What:
Run/Walk open to elementary students, their families (baby strollers welcome!)
We have an open category for middle school and adults too!!!
When:
Sunday, March 26, 2017 – rain or shine! See race start times below –
REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 1:30 P.M.!!!
Where:
Event courses are at or near Arbor Station Elementary (off-property courses will be protected
by the Douglasville City Police). Race Day registration and number pick-up will be held in the
cafeteria.
Why:
To promote health and fitness for our students and the community!
Cost:
$15 per registrant for all entries post marked through Thursday, March 16, 2017
All entries will be considered late if post marked on March 17th
$10 if registrant does not want a shirt
(Race Day Registration will be $20)
Entry fee covers short-sleeve event T-shirt, which will be available after the race, or for
late registrants, approx. 2 weeks following Race Day (pick up at your school’s main office).
(Please make checks or money orders payable to ASES PTSO.)
If not an Arbor Station Student, all entries MUST be mailed to the address above.

Awards:
1 – 10th place males and females in each grade level (K-5) will receive medals.
1st – 5th place males and females in the open middle school will receive medals.
1st – 5th place males and females in the open categories will receive medals.
All Kindergarten – 1 mile runners will receive ribbons in addition to 1st – 10th place medals.

*Parent/child combination entries may be Mother-Daughter, Mother-Son, Father-Daughter, or Father-Son; parents may enter in
multiple combinations (e.g., mother enters with son and daughter; father enters with two different sons, etc.) Children entering in
Parent/Child comb. must be elementary school students and must run in the 3k (1.8-mile) race in order to be eligible for
awards. Parents can run with kids in the 1-mile but will not be eligible for parent/child awards. Finish times for each
combination entry will be totaled and compared to other like-combination entries. Each registrant may run in only one race

We’ll be holding a Shoot Out Contest where you can compete for some really great prizes!
