How beautiful is God’s watered garden!
Isaiah says that humility before God, “the
fast that He has chosen” will make one
like a “spring of water, whose waters fail
not.” Why labor for things that do not
satisfy? He says, “Come to the water”
for that which does. Swarms of living
creatures live where the river flows. Then
Jesus said to the woman at the well,
“whoever drinks of the water that I will
give him shall never thirst; but the water
that I will give him will become in him a
well of water springing up to eternal
life.” Praise God that we can look into
ourselves, to the Kingdom of God within
us, and find the well that God has
provided, the one that makes our day
flourish with the beauty of a garden.
Today will be a good day.
