A message from our COO
WORDS
When you mention Fracht to shipping industry insiders, the irst thing that comes to
mind is Project Transportation. However, Fracht ofers so much more than that. We are
the true Hybrid Transportation provider in the Industry. No matter how large, or small
a shipment is, Fracht provides a diverse mix of logistic expertise.
2015 has been a particularly exciting year with unprecedented growth in project, general cargo, rail and domestic movements.
Due to severe economic challenges, exports to South America have been troublesome
in 2015. Thanks to the tenacity of Jerry Campanucci, Oscar Naranjo and their South
American Trade Lane Team, Fracht is going head-to-head with the Big Boys in the shipping industry and more than holding its own.

turned 60 years old
this year!
With the strong support of our 75 + Fracht oices and our network of overseas agents,
Helvetia (our NVOCC brand name) is now the number one NVOCC shipping to Chile.
We have surpassed the perennial leaders in the industry. Over the past ten months,
Helvetia has also solidiied its position as number three carrier to West Coast South
America and has added strong numbers into Colombia, Peru and Ecuador.

The economic turmoil has afected the other South American ports as well. Brazil and
Venezuela, normally strong markets, have really sufered. However, our competitive
rates and exceptional customer service have elevated Helvetia into the top ten for the
ECSA (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Venezuela and Uruguay).
With the hard work of our team, we can look forward to further cementing our position as a major player to and from South America in 2016.
Fracht USA has also decided to open oices in San Diego and Boston in early 2016 to
further strengthen our network. Despite the weak economic signals, this coming year
holds lots of promise that Fracht is on the UP!
Our VP of Compliance,
Werner Seyfried celebrates 30
fun-illed years with Fracht USA.
We from the Fracht Family wish you Happy Holidays and a blessed New Year.
Sincerely,
Reiner Wiederkehr,

A “Bond. James Bond...” Move
The “Classic” Transport
Fracht transports Spectre ilm cars
Fracht transports 100 classic old-timers
It seems as anything can happen in this world, but one thing never fails- The
“James Bond” ilms remain one of the most popular movie franchises in the
world, with “Spectre” being their latest screenplay. Exotic car chases, impossible romances, plot twists & villain-hero encounters is what one might expect
out of a Bond movie and Fracht is
proud to say we had a small part
in it.
1912 Unic Coupe, French origin
Our Fracht USA oice in collaboration with our Fracht UK oice,
were given the task by the car
manufacturer to transport copies
of these two vehicles. The Jaguar
C-X75 driven by the villain in the
Rome and the Land Rover Defender or “Big Foot” driven in the snowy
mountains of Austria, were both
part of thrilling car chases in the
movie.
The vehicles were shipped from
the UK in a two- 40 ft- HC container and arrived safe and sound in
Baltimore after a 16 day voyage.
Two days upon arrival, vehicles
had been cleared and devanned
ready for “Spectre Matinees” across
North America.
Once again, Fracht delivers solutions in every direction and this
time its was “Spectrecular”.

It’s not every day that you get awarded a move this big
or this “classic”.
Earlier this year, Jurgen Thonigs of Fracht Canada had found out about the potential sale of the largest private “classic” car collection in Canada. The assembly of cars
consisted of 116 mostly American made cars ranging from $150K-$300K each, all
restored to showroom condition and housed in two magniicent warehouses on a
private property in Vancouver, B.C.
A buyer in China closed on the sale a few months later after negotiating $7 million for 100 cars. For several months Jurgen followed the story and after weeks of
visits and introductions, he and his team, in collaboration with Fracht China were
awarded the shipment. The teams worked closely to plan out the logistical details
of the transport ensuring the safest pickup and handling of each car. The plan included the collection of 4 cars daily, protected storage, securing by experienced
senior staf, photographs of progress and vast amounts of documentation. Even
the slightest dent or damage had to be avoided as this would mean arduous and
costly repairs by experts and potential delays in shipment.
After a few months of careful planning and transportation, we are delighted to say
that no damages were incurred and the cars left in excellent condition to Xingang
with one very happy Chinese car owner.
