FRONTLINE:
Law & Disorder
Eating Alaska
from the president
One reason I watch public television is that it’s a home for great
long-form storytelling. Documentaries from Frontline, Independent
Lens and filmmaker Ken Burns are explorations of the world that
stay with us after we’re finished watching. No place on television
tells stories better.
This month, we’ll bring you films that examine adoption, the
environment and the mystery of the human subconscious on new
episodes of POV. Next month, we’ll welcome Ken Burns to Seattle
and premiere The Tenth Inning, the follow-up to his definitive
Baseball documentary. And later this year we plan to launch a
new series spotlighting Northwest independent film.
We're proud to bring the Pacific Northwest the best television on
television, and we always want to hear from you. My e-mail address
is [email protected] – write anytime, and thank you for supporting
KCTS 9.
Important!
Thinking of switching
service providers?
Be sure they carry all
three of KCTS 9’s channels.
And if they don’t,
request that they do!
Thank you.
