Updates and Reminders November 22, 2015 ! Thanksgiving Luncheon: What a wonderful lunch we had on Friday. We loved being able to come together as a school community to enjoy a delicious meal. Thank you to all our volunteers for helping make our Thanksgiving Luncheon a success. ! Penny Race: Our penny race was a great success. Thanks to your contributions we raised a total of $1555.98! Congratulations to the 4th Grade class for winning the race! ! This week’s communication folders: Due to the shortened week, the “Wednesday Folders” will be sent home on Tuesday. Please return the folders on the next day, Wednesday. ! Wednesday Early Release: Students will be released from school at 1pm on Wednesday, November 25th. Students will eat lunch at school today. There is bus transportation, but no PM extended care. We wish you a blessed Thanksgiving! ! Taunton Christmas Parade: The Taunton Christmas Parade will be on Sunday, December 6th. We hope that everyone will be able to attend and represent our school! If you are planning on participating, please return the parade form by Monday, November 23rd in order to purchase your sweatshirts in time. ! Hot Lunch: December lunch forms are due by Tuesday, November 24th. No late forms will be accepted. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. ! Lyman Pie Delivery: Pick up your pies, just in time for Thanksgiving! Pick-­‐up is on Tuesday November 24th in the school auditorium from 2:00pm-­‐5:00pm. Please be sure to make arrangements to pick-­‐up the pies as they are not sent home with the students. ! Scriptzone Gift Cards: Orders are due by December 2nd to ensure that you have them in time for Christmas. Get your shopping done early and without a hassle! ! Toys for Tots: We have started to collect toys for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Please consider donating a new toy for a less fortunate child. Donations can be brought to the office or sent in with your student. Thank you in advance. ! My Brother’s Keeper Donations: St. Mary’s Giving Tree for My Brother’s Keeper will run through December 11th. Star ornaments will be available on the tree in the foyer. Each star has a suggestion for a new toy or item to be donated to a less fortunate person. Please consider choosing a star and donating to help someone in our community. ! 4th Grade Wreath Making: The 4th Grade wreath making on Friday, December 4th will be at 1:30pm. Please note that this is a change of time from the December calendar. Sorry for any confusion. ! Pancake Breakfast With Santa: You are invited to join Santa for a pancake breakfast on Saturday, December 5th from 9-­‐11am. The cost is $5pp. More information will be provided in this week’s folder. ! Pictures Wanted! Do you have any great pictures from our school events? We would like to see them.
