Student Supply List - Providence Academy

Providence Academy
Lower School
Student Supply List 2016-17
Providence Academy will purchase most of the supplies that your child will need. Please do not
purchase additional supply items as we will obtain specific materials that the teachers would like
the children to use at school. For these items, as well as special project supplies, an $85.00 supply
fee will be charged to each child's account at the beginning of the school year. This fee will cover
almost all student classroom needs throughout the year. We obtain many of the items in bulk and
at discount or prices comparable to locally advertised prices. In addition to the benefit of not
searching stores for the specific items on a school supply list, you will not be asked to regularly
send in classroom supplies, additional supplies for your child, or materials for special
projects/crafts at holiday times.
When purchasing student supplies listed below, please note the policy in the Providence Academy
Handbook… “In keeping with the spirit of the uniform policy, cartoons, photographs, and other
images are not permitted on backpacks, lunch boxes, notebooks, etc.” Please remember that the
policy pertains to lunch bags/totes, book covers, jackets, hats, mittens, etc.
