(Unless noted, all verses are NIV) While every individual needs to obey Jesus’ call to follow, we c follow Jesus as individuals. The New Testament is full of commands to do this or that for “one another.” It’s impossible to f Jesus alone. Teaching people to obey what Jesus commanded is a never-ending process that r us to intertwine our lives with the Christians around us. To establish an environment where people can connect with one another and grow in their relationship with God, gaining Acceptance to help repair wounds, Wisdom for making important decisions, Strength for life’s storms, and Accountability, which is vital for spiritual growth. The church is God’s strategy for reaching our world. What we do i the church matters. The church is a group of redeemed people that live and serve together in such a way that their l and communities are transformed. If you are not connected with other Christians, serving and being served, challenging and being challenged, then you are not living as He desires, and the church is not functioning as He intended. Our Vision To reach and to lead all people to Love god, Love Others, and Live missional. Our Mission Make Disciples who make Disciples The Process Gather, Grow, Go G3 Touches Sunday, Wednesday, Community Groups Our Values Encourage, Equip, Engage, Express, Hebrews 13:17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you. God has united us together in local churches to keep one another from sinning and straying from Christ (Gal. 6:1–5; Matt. 18:15–20). God has commanded us to gather together in local assemblies where we preach & teach God’s Word, Grow as we dig into His Word. Celebrate the Lord’s Supper, baptize new believers, Pray for and encourage one another Hebrews 10:24-25 (24) And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, (25) not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Acts 2:43-47 A church full of isolated individuals feeling defeated by their sin and stripped of their joy was n God’s plan for the church. ~Upcoming Events~ May 29 - $4,282.00 Weekly Budget $7,960.85 Going on Vacation this Summer?
