How God beats out of you His GLORY
Exodus 25:17-22
17And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits
and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the
breadth thereof. 18And thou shalt make two cherubims of
gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of
the mercy seat. 19And make one cherub on the one end, and
the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall
ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof. 20And the
cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the
mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to
another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the
cherubims be. 21And thou shalt put the mercy seat above
upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I
shall give thee. 22And there I will meet with thee, and I will
commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between
the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of
all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the
children of Israel.
Isaiah 44:12
12The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and
fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength
of his arms:
Not strength on the loose or strength without restraint but
rather strength with control strength with purpose. With
vision- he will tap Ex.25
He sees what he wants to create and by the hammer he will craft
something of beauty after the fire and after the hammer.
When God was ready to reveal Himself to His people did so
through the priesthood order.
Then He gave them the Ten Commandments.
Then the Ark of the Covenant.

Hundreds of years before the birth of Jesus this Ark pointed to,
spoke of Jesus and typified Jesus- in the way it was made what
it was made of elements it contained.

God told Moses to build it out of a certain type of wood and
overlay it and inlay it with the purest gold.
o Wood- humanity, A man, Son of man
o Gold- Deity, Son of God
o Not Half Man/Half God

Wood- reminds me that He understands how I feel because He
came in the form of a human being…
o Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I
myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not
flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
o Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a
man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
o Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which
cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities;
but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet
without sin.
o He knew the facts but he wanted to know the
feeling.
Gold- Son of God and God the Son. The Deified Savior!
But while he was here he laid this aside so that mankind could
approach Him.
o Revelation 1:17
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead.
• But after He was crucified and was ready to ascend
o John 17:5
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own
self with the glory which I had with thee before the
world was.

Golden Rings
o Mobility of God’s presence.
o People think you have to travel to find God…

Mercy Seat
o Without it this is a box of death. But with it- a place where
people meet God.
o Church without mercy.

Golden Cherubim- Earthy Golden illustration of inanimate objects
but it’s going to illustrate something currently happening in the
heavens.
o Out of Gold Cherubim- created beings of worship that creat
atmosphere of glory always crying HOLY.
o Isaiah 6
§ I saw the Master sitting on a throne—high, exalted!
—and the train of his robes filled the Temple. Angelseraphs hovered above him, each with six wings.
With two wings they covered their faces, with two
their feet, and with two they flew. And they called
back and forth one to the other,
Holy, Holy, Holy is God-of-the-Angel-Armies.
His bright glory fills the whole earth.
The foundations trembled at the sound of the angel
voices, and then the whole house filled with smoke
• Ezekiel saw it as a River• Out of that atmosphere God moves and works.
