It’s time again for The Mandy Connell Cruise and you do NOT want to miss this
one! I’m happy beyond measure to be working again with Cruise & Tour who
took AMAZING care of every detail on the last trip. They are first class all the
way, every transfer and hotel are perfect and they make sure you feel like a king
or queen the entire time. They will create a worry-free vacation for all of us. So
where are we off to this year?
ALASKA!
Alaska is such a wonderful destination for so many reasons. It’s one of the most
beautiful places I’ve ever been with so many fantastic excursions to suit
everyone’s taste. Here is the itinerary:
July 26th we fly non-stop from Denver to Anchorage where we spend the night
and enjoy the city. The next day it’s off to the Hotel Alyeska, which is
STUNNING, to spend the night. Google it to see what I am talking about! We
drive down the next day to Seward, Alaska to hop on the Celebrity Millennium. I
must pause here to say that if you’ve cruised before and never cruised Celebrity,
OMG are you in for a treat! The food is remarkable, the entertainment is
Broadway quality and the service is divine. The Millennium is a huge ship, so you
never feel crowded and there are tons of things to do.
Once on board, we will see Hubbard Glacier, the largest calving glacier in the
world. Then we’ll make stops in Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point, and Ketchikan
before we sail the breathtaking Inside Passage before disembarking in Vancouver,
BC. A morning in Vancouver with a super fun tour caps off our journey before we
fly home non-stop Friday, August 4th.

PRE-CRUISE
Day 1 - Denver to Anchorage
Depart Denver on your non-stop flight to Anchorage and spend the evening in
Anchorage as you get to know your fellow group members during our welcome
reception. Overnight at the Captain Cook Hotel, Anchorage
Day 2 - Alaskan Wilderness
This morning after breakfast we’ll board our deluxe motorcoach for a scenic drive
south to the resort town of Girdwood. The rest of the day is available for optional
tours such as a guided hike, flightseeing, rafting, as well as many others to choose
from, or take scenic tram ride to the top of Mt. Alyeska at your leisure.

Day 3 - Board Celebrity Millennium
This morning after breakfast we’ll drive the final stretch of the Seward Highway to
board the Celebrity Millennium. En route, enjoy a visit to the Alaska Wildlife
Conservation Center for a chance to see Alaska’s wildlife up close and personal.
Day 4- Hubbard Glacier (Scenic Cruising)
Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The
glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10-story buildings, sending massive
blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.
Day 5 - Juneau, Alaska
CRUISING ALASKA
A city that gracefully balances frontier ruggedness with cosmopolitan flair.
Mendenhall Glacier, a river of ice measuring 1.5 miles in width and over 6 miles in
length, is part of Juneau's Icefield, 1500 square miles of ice that feeds 38 glaciers and
ready for you to take a float trip on it.
Day 6 - Skagway, Alaska
The great Klondike Gold Rush lives on in Skagway's charming downtown of restored
19th-century buildings and its historic railway. The White Pass & Yukon Route
Railroad runs vintage locomotives past the famously steep Chilkoot Trail and offers
sweeping mountain views during its climb toward Canada.
Day 7 - Icy Strait Point, Alaska
For thousands of years, the Tlingit Indians have called this place home. Located near
the city of Hoonah, Icy Strait Point offers travelers the chance to view wildlife like
humpback whales, orcas, seals, eagles, and brown bears.
Day 8 - Ketchikan, Alaska
You've never tasted salmon so fresh. Known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World',
Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the
world's largest collection of totem poles. If you're up for an adventure, take a canoe
and nature trail excursion through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration
followed by a sumptuous crab feast you can't resist.
Day 9 - Inside Passage Cruising
Today's sailing brings you through both the Alaska and British Columbia segments of
the famed Inside Passage. Home to diverse wildlife—orca, mountain goats, bald
eagles, bears, puffins, sea otters and more—the complex labyrinth of fjords and bays
are where whales and sea lions find refuge during the summer months.
Day 10 - Vancouver, British Columbia
Today we’ll depart our ship in the largest metropolitan center in western Canada
and the country's third largest city, Vancouver. We’ll tour some of downtown
Vancouver's most popular spots before enjoying some leisure time in the King of
Vancouver destinations, Granville Island. Later we’ll continue on to the airport for
our mid-afternoon flight home.

RESERVATION REQUEST FORM: A completed and signed form is required for a confirmed reservation. Please include an email address that you
check often as almost all Mandy Connell Cruise information including booking confirmations, receipts, updates, offers, etc., will come to you via email.
CRUISE CATEGORIES: Cruise stateroom categories are capacity controlled and subject to availability at the time of booking. If the stateroom category
is sold out when we receive your reservation, we will contact you to discuss alternate categories. In order to receive the best available accommodation
options, we recommend booking as soon as you have made a decision.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT: A $500 per person deposit is required with your Reservation Request. A second deposit of $500 is due 1/20/2017. Final
payment is due 4/6/2017. PLEASE BE ADVISED – FIRST AND SECOND DEPOSIT CAN BE MADE BY CREDIT CARD, CASH OR CHECK. FINAL
PAYMENT PAYABLE BY CASH OR CHECK ONLY.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: For cancellations received in writing on or before 1/20/2017, deposit paid is refundable less a $200 per person
cancellation fee. From 1/21/17 – 4/5/17 deposits paid are non-refundable. From 4/6/17 to 5/19/17, the cancellation charge is 50% of the total cost of your
travel arrangements plus any non-refundable airfare if tickets have been issued prior to cancellation. After 5/19/17, or non-appearance on departure day,
100% of the cost of your travel arrangements is forfeited. This policy supersedes any other published cancellation and refund policy. It is understood and
agreed that in the event of cancellation, the refund and cancellation charge may be processed in two separate credit card transactions or by check
payment. If flights are purchased other than the designated group flights, separate airline penalties apply. If any other arrangements outside of the
group package have been made, penalties may apply and are not the responsibility of Cruise & Tour. We strongly encourage the purchase of travel
insurance to protect the investment in your vacation and to help in dealing with unexpected emergencies.
